Hello again!
Well, there's not much to report right now. I'm waiting to 'O' right now, and I have my post coital test on December 13th. If I 'O' on the same day that it kind of looks like I o'd last cycle (temps were all over the place), then it'll be perfect timing. It was supposed to be a regular checkup on my progress and discuss having a post-coital, but since I'm supposed to 'O' that day, I went ahead and asked the nurse if I should just be ready that morning. LOL. So, Kris has asked for a few hours off from work that day. My appointment is at 9:45, and his shift starts at 10:00. He's been coming to all my ob/gyn appointments, and if they happen to do an exam, he just moves up by my head = ).
I have to say that I've finally gotten piece of mind about this whole TTC mess and my step-son. I've been kind of resentful of 'lil Kris because I am having such a hard time getting PG. But, I can honestly say, I look forward to his visits now, and will accept the fact if he's the only child we have. I'll be upset, but it'll be OK. I told Kris last week that I look forward to having the baby, and he told me thank you. He knows how hard it's been on me.
Yesterday I went shopping with MIL. I overspent our budget, but that's another story! As we were walking past Motherhood Maternity, she said that will be a store for us soon. Me and Kris have been going in there to look at clothes and stuff, and we noticed they have little bellies to attach in the dressing rooms. So I told her that and she laughed.
Oh, and it didn't work out again for the Christmas shift bid -- ugh. I work 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Kris works 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve. Then, on Christmas, I work 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and he works 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.. What's weird is that he has higher seniority than me, but gets shifts he doesn't want. But, there's a guy that might trade with me so I work 7:00 to 12:00 both nights too. He was wanting earlier shifts to be with his wife also.
OK time to go. I spent so much we really have to cut back on gas this pay period, so I'm sitting up here for another 2 hours before my shift even starts. I asked about overtime, but my department is never busy in the mornings, only at night during my normal shift, LOL. Kris can work overtime for 3 hours every day after work though, so as long as he does it we'll have a good Christmas this year!
