Catherine's Diary Entries

September 10, 2004

Please please please no...yes! No AF! That's what I keep telling myself every time I go to the bathroom. I'm currently 16 dpo, temps are way up and extreamly steady. I haven't had any pre-AF cramps like I usually do. They are different feeling cramps. More like pulling down or stretching. My bbs are still sore, but not as sore as they were about a week ago. But I'm not worried about it. Not really anyway. I'm trying very hard not to worry that this is all a dream. We've worked so long and hard at this. It would be amazing if it actually worked!

I had my beta drawn today. I should know the results in a few hours. I'm so nervous that this isn't real! I took one hpt on Wednesday and there was a very faint line, almost so faint I could barely see it. So maybe?! I'll post my beta results on my ttm board as soon as I get them.

I was at the store yesterday buying myself dinner because Jeff was at class and there was a drink called 'Mo' Beta'. I thought that was fitting for what I was going to do so I bought it! Not the greatest drink, but could you blame me?

I guess all in all Jeff and I are trying to be cautious about this. We'll celebrate I guess when we know we're for sure having this baby. I would be due like May 20th.

Beyond the baby stuff, my mother-in-law called to let us know that our nephew is in the hospital for an auto-immune disease that they don't quite know what's going on. Poor little guy. So if you can remember him in your prayers that would be wonderful. My brother-in-law (newphew's dad) is also in the hospital for chest pains. They are hoping it's not a heart attack and just stress. I hope so too!

***UPDATE*** I just got my beta results. I'm pregnant!!! They are at about 60 so that's completely normal. I'm shaking so much I can't believe it!!!!!!!!
