Wow, June already! Time is just flying by! In a few months, we will have lived in this area for a year and have been married for 3 years. We just passed our 2 year ttc mark a few months ago. Whew...where does the time go?
Speaking of time, I've been trying very hard to update this diary more often but of course, time catches up with me and the days are flying by. My supervisor was finally able to hire a new lady and things at work have been as hectic as ever. This lady is doing okay, but learning slowly. Plus, I don't think that my supervisor gave her the training that she needs before she was thrown to the phones. But she's doing okay and I'm just happy to have another warm body in the office helping out!
Well, I didn't O as early this month as I did last month but there's a definite shift on my chart and also I got a positive opk over the weekend. My first ever! Yay! HOWEVER, my stupid monitor STILL didn't give me a peak. Seriously, is this thing working? All you monitor users out there help me out. Is it normal that I have never gotten a peak with this thing? I keep meaning to call the help line and ask but things are hectic and I never remember when I'm home. So could any of you shed some light on this subject?
So I have decided that the cicadas have worn out their welcome and should leave now. They always kind of creep me out and they crossed the line today! I have really long, thick hair and I hate to have things in it. See where I'm going with this? This morning I sat down at my desk from walking from the bus stop and I felt an itch on my neck. So I went up to scratch it and screeched because there was a big cicada on my neck! It got flung to the floor where it buzzed around for a bit and then I put it on my co-workers desk because she and I have a running gag about those things. She laughed but made me take it out. This time it was on a pen, not in my hair! The whole thing made me very uncomfortable and the cicadas have my permission to leave!
Jeff and I went to see Shrek 2 and it was very cute. Worth seeing! I really liked the extra scene at the end. Very cute but I won't spoil the surprise for you if you haven't seen it.
Cinder is our little ball of fire! She is so cute and so much fun. Most evenings we sit around watching her play and laughing at all the cute little things she does. She's always full of energy but when she's really wound up, she runs full out in circles. It's so cute to see. Her favorite toy right now is an old plastic juice concentrate can. She picks that thing up and carries it around and it covers her eyes. I'm sure she can see because she doesn't run into anything. She also loves to have us step on her toys so she can pretend to dig them up with lots of growling and tail wagging. Whenever she gets the toy up from our feet, she trots off with this little important strut. She's so cute. Jeff brings her to pick me up from the metro and she absolutely loves to ride in the car. She is also SO happy to see me every time I haven't seen her for a while. That happiness to see me really sooths my soul. I love my puppy! :) There’s pictures of her on my ttm board.
Until next time!
~Always, Cat
