4-7 Please tell me that’s not living…
Still waiting on AF. This is now my longest cycle ever. I keep meaning to find my hpts so I can take them but I always get side tracked with all this unpacking that I have to do! But I've put it at the top of my list of things to find tonight so I can take one tomorrow. It's too bad that Dr. K has gone out of town this week, otherwise I'd be talking to him about getting me started on provera or something to get this going! I have never been THIS irregular. And boy is it frustrating.
We closed on our house on time and everything worked out just fine. We spent the rest of the day of closing cleaning the kitchen. And the rest of the next day, and all that weekend too. And we're still not done! We moved the fridge out of a half inch hole in the floor and blanched at the filth under there. We stood there looking at it for a minute and Jeff picked up a piece of old, dried macaroni and pulled up part of the old linoleum that it was stuck to. So Jeff attacked the floor and pulled up 2 or 3 layers of old flooring and really cleaned off the guck that was back there. We've also put down a board to pull the fridge up to floor level and we got the floor to match. I feel great about the fridge area now! And Jeff even scrubbed down the fridge so we can at least have some food in the house. Now the question is, where to put the dishes? It seems like they have not cleaned the kitchen in quite some time so we’re still living on take out until I feel good about how clean the kitchen is. Hopefully we’ll get that done this weekend, and then on the closets to put stuff away!
We also cleaned out behind the washer/dryer. We found so many interesting things, including a huge bug that, thankfully, wasn't living. There was a bunch of hangers, a few lone socks, a glove, an address book and a picture of a lady giving birth. Yes, full on between the legs shot of the head coming out. Ugh! And under the sink we found a tennis racket. Who keeps a tennis racket under the sink?!
From under the stairs we pulled out a box of pictures, a box of plastic balls, and a broken speaker. And I'm sure that these things weren’t from our sellers, but from the people before them. So along with all of our stuff, we've got to get rid of people who lived there 2 owners ago! What a funny house this is turning out to be.
One thing that I'm NOT happy about is the fact that we have no hot water. Our electric box is so old that we short out the breaker that the water heater is connected to when we turn on the water heater. So now we have to get the box up dated. Otherwise it’s a major fire hazard. I hope that we get this fixed soon because I would rather pay to get it fixed now than to pay for fire damage. We've been boiling water for baths, but that is just getting annoying! I can't wait to have that fixed!
Jeff's acrosome reaction tests and semen analysis came back. He still has an infection but the motility was up in the normal ranges, although still low. I'll post the numbers on my ttm board again. And the acrosome reaction test came back fine as well. The only thing that worries me a bit is that he had 15% pear shaped sperm. What that means, I don't know but when I get a chance to talk to Dr. K, I'll let you know. :)
We had a good time with my dad. It was so helpful to have him around! He drove around for us and helped us figure out where things were, like Lowes. :) I get the feeling we’ll be frequent visitors at that store. But It was really great to see him again and I look forward to seeing my mom next weekend too.
I just want to let Stacy know that she will be missed on these diaries. I first started reading hers when I found iparenting and I sincerely wish her the best in her life.
Until next time!
~Always, Cat
