Catherine's Diary Entries

March 31, 2004

Happy Birthday Jeff! He is 25 today. He is such a great guy to me. He's thoughtful and kind and just wonderful. I love him so much!

I am STILL waiting for AF to show. It's so frustrating to just sit here and be able to do nothing. I keep thinking that AF will start any day but day after day nothing. It's so frustrating. I'm debating on calling Dr. K and asking to be put on Provera to get this started.

We close on our house tomorrow. Yay! We had a little scare of delaying it. Our HOA has an insurance policy on the structure of the house and the loan company needed that information to complete the loan. One person handles that information. Our realtor, their realtor, and the loan place have been trying to get a hold of this person for over a week. And as of last night, they hadn't been able to speak to them yet. But she finally got the information out early this morning and we are still “go” for closing tomorrow. I cannot wait to be settled in this house. It's going to be so nice to be able to spend more time with Jeff and have him be so close to work. And to just have a house of our own!

My dad is coming into town this weekend because he's in Philadelphia for business and it's only about 3 hours away so he thought he'd drop by and spend some time with us. I mean, 3 hours is not a long drive, right? I am so excited to see him again and to show him this house! He's also coming out with my mom in a few weeks to see the house then, too. What can I say, my parents love me. :)

Spring here is so great. There are flowers everywhere I look. I especially enjoy the flowering trees they have out here. We've been trying to get downtown and see the cherry trees but every time we try and go out, it's been really rainy and miserable. So we'll go see them soon. All along the highways here are these big bunches of daffodils. They are so cheery and beautiful. Spring here is very different than spring in the mountains. I really like it. :)

Jeff had his AR test yesterday. We should get the results of that next week.

Next week I'll be a homeowner! :) Until then!
