Hello iparenting land! Again, there is nothing new going on with us this week. I think I have ovulated (finally on day 30!) so right now I'm 5 dpo, I think? I'm not holding my breath for it working out this month but I suppose you never know. I'm starting to plan when to do the HSG. Hopefully I can do it the first week in April. I want to get some testing done!
Jeff has his repeat SA and acrosome reaction test next week. What is an acrosome reaction test you ask? As far as I understand it, they do a regular SA with it but then put the sperm in a solution that tests how well the cap of the sperm disintegrates. In other words, how well they have the ability to break down the "shell" of the egg to fertilize. I'm looking forward to getting the results of this test and seeing if the antibiotics helped out with Jeff's motility. I suppose if motility is still low, it's off to IUIs for us. But let's cross one bridge at a time. :)
We're still all set for closing on our house. I am so excited to have a house! Something that we own and can do whatever we want to it. Only 8 more days left till our closing.
That's all for now. Next week I'm sure I'll have more to talk about! Until then!
~Always, Cat
