Well, AF decided to come late yesterday, so I decided to count today as day 1. This is cycle 18. 18! Just the number kind of makes me feel a little down. But it's kind of cool that today is the 18th and it starts my 18th cycle. Hopefully that will make it easy to remember. I'm excited to start using my fertility monitor. Any rants or raves on it would be appreciated from the peanut gallery (you, as a reader) about any fertility monitor.
House hunting went great! I really like our realtors and they have been very helpful in finding the right house for us. And I think we have found it. Yes, with only one time out, we fell in love with a cute townhouse. It's not on the market yet because it needed to have some serious work done to it. Luckily, the sellers are willing to do that. They are getting it repainted (white, we even got to pick the color!), a few rooms need new carpet, it has all new hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining area, and a few of the doors are warped (who knows how) so they are replacing those as well. So it seems like a really great buy and just as big as we wanted. 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. Plus, it's an end unit right next to the common area so it's like we look over a great big park. It should be getting painted this week and in 2 weeks we'll be able to place a bid on it. Hopefully we’ll be able to go and see it again this weekend and we can see if it’s still looking as good as we hope it will. I’m glad they are painting it because the half bath was bright, bright orange. Enough to hurt your eyes when you walked in! I’m looking forward to seeing it again.
Jeff's SA is this Friday so hopefully things will go well with that. We've also made an appointment for one of the RE's here at my work. It's a big enough company that I feel I can be lost in the system and just be another patient. It's going to be interesting being an employee and a patient at the same place. But at least I know the best times and places to be! :)
Valentine’s Day was a lot of fun. Jeff got me a rose and took me out to dinner at one of my favorite Mexican restaurant. Then we went to our church for a dance and just really enjoyed ourselves. It was a very pleasant evening and one of the better Valentine Days that we have had.
I think I might be updating my diary a little more often. So check back often. Oh, and good luck to Jennifer D. on her up coming transfer!
~Always, Cat
