Introduction

Brad and I had a pretty good Christmas. He had to work nights though, so we just celebrated earlier in the day. Christmas Eve we spend with my family and Christmas morning with his. Both our families live here in town which is really nice. We don't have to travel very far, only about 4 miles down the road to my parents' house and his mother lives right behind us. Brad still misses his dad very much and of course we both wish I was still PG. (I should be in my sixth month now.) Even though this holiday season was hard, we got through it and did just fine.

On Christmas Eve, right before we left to go to my parents' house, I couldn't find one of the presents that I had made for them. It was a 5 x 7 scrapbook of us and all our pets. It was nowhere to be found and Brad had burned earlier that morning so put 2 and 2 together. I FREAKED!!! I thought for sure it had accidentally got burned. I started crying and couldn't remember what I had done with it. I had spent so much time on it! It ended up I had put the wrong gift tag on it. PHEW!!!

I went to the lab again this morning for one last blood test -- I hope! This has been such a pain but I really appreciate how much time and effort my doctor has put into my care. That is exactly who I want to deliver my baby (if I ever get to that point!). Hopefully my count will be where they want it. I was at 13 two weeks ago so it should be OK today. I was supposed to wait to TTC till after I had my second period since the D & C and I just pretty much ended that today. YEAH!!! I started my fertility monitor on day 1 of this cycle and today was the first testing day. I hope this thing works! Brad and I didn't want to waste time trying - as fun as it may be :) we would rather know now when our window of opportunity is. And hopefully I will get PG again before my first EDD, which is Apr. 16.
