Jackie P's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 11, 2000

I went to the doctor today to have my hormone level checked. I've been doing this regularly since the miscarriage. It read 13. My doctor wanted it to be at 0 before TTC again, but said that 5-7 was normal. When I called to get the results a nurse advised me to wait two more cycles now to TTC. I don't want to wait! What is 6 points? I think I'm close enough. I told her that we wouldn't deliberately TTC, but I'm not going to prevent it either. I'm just going to wait and see what happens.

Other than that, not much is going on. I did some Christmas shopping today. Fourteen more days and I'm only half done. I always seem to wait till the end, though -- especially when I'm making a homemade gift. I'm making a coat for my mother which was supposed to be for her birthday in October but I didn't feel like working on it then, so I gave her an I.O.U.

We took in another dog a while back. It was my DH's grandpa's dog. She's a German Shorthair and what a pill! Actually she's pretty good. He got remarried a couple of months ago and the new wife doesn't want her, so we took her. At least I don't have to groom this one. I think I forgot to mention that in my introduction that I've been a dog groomer for a little more than five years now. I haven't worked in a shop for a couple of years now but have a small clientele that I groom out of my home. In fact, I have four dogs scheduled for next week. I hope I can get everything done!!! :)

See you next week --
Jackie
