Good Morning! Well, it is here anyway. About 7:30 am and thought I would post a new entry. I think my cold is taking a turn for the better. I sat next to my vicks vaporizer all night and it really helped. That is the only thing I can do. My Dr. said you have to be over 8 weeks to be able to take medication. But that's ok, I'm doing better anyway.
This cold really took my symptoms for a loop. And of course that made me so paranoid I was in tears. I'm so nervous!! I have had no appitite what's so ever since I can't smell or taste anything with this cold. My nausea has gone except if I don't eat on time. I get dizzy real easy and have had a very gasy stomach. My boobs have finally taken over. OUCH! I think they are someone elses!! I'm a 34C to begin with so we will see where this PG will take them. :)
And since I'm on the size subject I'll let you in on the rest of me. I'm not a very big gal--I weigh 105 at the moment and stand 5'3". (DH is 6'3"!) I've gained an inch and a half around my middle already but don't know if I should blame my "gas" problem on that or not.
If all goes well at my appt., I'm going to start a scrapbook of this PG. Pictures of me through the months as my shape changes, stories of how I feel and what we did, DR appts., u/s pics and what ever else I can find to put in it. It would be something fun to look back on years from now. My mom never took any pics of herself. She hates being in pictures! There is only one of her and it was at her baby shower. She wasn't very big either but smaller yet. She only weighed 96 when she got PG with me and got to be a whole 126 when she delivered. The funny thing is (and I think I mentioned this before) the DR who delivered me is still in practice. He's in the same office where I will be going. This will definatly be a picture in the scrapbook!!
The weather is going to be really nice today and it's the start of DH's 4 days off. I think I'm going to plant some flowers in my pots on my deck. We just got a cover put on two days ago so we can actually sit out there now and not get cooked. It is always too hot during the summer to even use it so this cover will be great! I've picked out a table and chairs at Walmart to put out there so maybe we will go buy that today. My cold is much better and I feel like being out in the sun!
And before I forget! Congratulations Leslie!! What a wonderful surprise and Birthday gift for your DH!! You are in my prayers. Things will be ok--for the both of us! I hope all the other new mommies are doing and feeling ok. Good luck to everyone!! May there be more +HPT during this new month.
