Jackie P's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

April 21, 2001

I can't believe it! I'm pregnant! I am still in shock and on cloud 9 all at the same time. I was going to wait until Monday to post my good news but thought why? I've got to tell somebody!!

I thought for sure it would be anothr dud month but I started feeling like **** on Wed. I thought that it was too early to show signs of a PG. And AF wasn't to be due until Sat. The next day it hit me pretty good. All I could remember is that I felt exactly like this last summer when I found out I was PG. I took a test and got a faint line. In the back of my head I had that feeling but still wondered if it could posibly be true. DH made me take another test this morning before he left for work and for sure it was positive. I think he's more excited than me!!!

I'm calling the DR first thing Mon. morning and hopefully they will get me in soon. Since I had a miscarriage, I don't think I can wait too long. I am so excited but worried at the same time that I will lose this one too. Getting in sooner would put me at ease! I put in my LMP on a due date calculator and it gave me Dec. 28th. We'll see what the DR says. :-)

I see Tracy just found out abut her PG too. YIPPEE!!!! I'm so happy for you! And hear you thought you had something wrong. Congrats to you and DH!

Even though it is the best news to hear, we are waiting to tell people. I told my MIL and my parents and my grandparents today but the rest of the family and friends can wait until I know I can make it past 3 months this time. It's hard to keep a secret like this so I'm glad I have all you girls to share this with. I'll be spreading this "LUCKY" baby dust!!!

Love, Jackie
