We got back Thursday evening from vacation. It was so much fun!! I wish we could have stayed longer. There is so much to see in Las Vegas. The food was very good and the gambling was so-so. I won enough to play with. We walked our butts off!! My legs are so sore!!
And as you can see-- I'm on to cycle #4. I thought we had a good chance this month but I guess not. I ordered more test sticks for my monitor and started those yesterday. This will be my 3rd month using my monitor. Maybe it's like they say, 3rd times the charm. Lets hope so!! I'm getting closer to my first EDD. I think I have about 6-7 weeks left. I thought for sure I would be PG by then but I don't think I will be. There must be a good reason for it. I just haven't found it yet. My co-worker ( who I no longer work with) is due the end of May. I'm suppose to start working more than my one day a week while she is on maternity leave. Then after she comes back I'm giving my notice. I'd like to leave now but I know they need my help while she is gone so I'll stick it out til then.
We had to rush my goat to the vet yesterday. She was down in the field and couldn't get back up. At first the vet thought she had dislocated her hip. They took X-rays and found it was fine. He finally decided that it was her nervous system. She acted like she had had a stroke. The vet said that happens a lot in goats, especially when they get old. There wasn't anything they could do so we had to leave her and they put her to sleep. Now I have only 2. The one is due to have her babies the end of March. I will try to post pictures when they arrive. They'll be so cute!!
Even though our vacation was a lot of fun, we are glad to be back in our own bed. Now I'm trying to finish my scrapboook and am waiting to get my consultant kit for Creative Memories. Hopefully I can start booking classes soon.
