February 14, 2001
We got back from clam digging last Friday afternoon. It was a fun trip. Everyone got their limits Wednesday. It was pretty easy- it took us about 15-20 min. Thursday was a different story. It took over 2 hours and we had to dig in the dark with lanterns. I got my limit and then headed for the truck. It was so cold!! We didn't leave the beach til 7:30. It actually tried to snow at home while we were gone. No wonder it was cold at the beach! We got back around noon, unpacked everything and then I packed another bag and left for Tacoma with my SIL. We were invited to an all night Scrapbook party. We got there about 6:00 and worked on our books until about 11:45. I almost finished 5 pages (that's pretty good!) Then we went to TGI Fridays for a snack. Have any of you ever heard of Creative Memories? Well that's what the party was--a free crop night. I'm looking into being a consultant. I love to scrapbook so it should be a lot of fun.
Only a week to go before we leave for Vegas!! I can't wait!!I was getting a little worried though. I startd getting sick coming home from Tacoma. The next day I had a temperature and a very bad sore throat. I went to the DR and she said it was just a virus that I'll have to let run its course. GREAT!! I thought I'd never get rid of it and here we're waiting to fly on vacation. I feel a lot better today though.
As with the 2WW-- its almost over. I took both HPT's I had ordered. One at 10 DPO and the other at 12 DPO. They both read NEG! :(
Was it too early? I don't know!! I've never tested early before. Just thought I'd try it since some gals say they test at 12 DPO and get a +. The tests I bought were Aimstick from Craig Medical that are suppose to read as early as 7-10 DPO with a hCG of 20. When I was chatting on Babycenter chats last week a gal said she used those same tests and got neg. results too. BUT-- she is in her 4th month of PG. They were wrong. So maybe there is still hope!! I don't know. I kind of have a funny feeling the tests were right for me. I thought for sure this was my month. Now I guess I need to order more test sticks for my monitor.
I worked today. (yippee!) My one day a week.
I have a poodle scheduled for grooming on Friday so it looks like a pretty mild week. Hopefully I can get all my chores done before we leave. I'm sending in my money and agreement to Creative Memories so I can get my starter kit and start setting up classes.
So I guess I'm onto C#4. Well--that isn't set in stone yet!:) I'll wait and see if AF is going to show. She should be here over the weekend. I hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day!!
Take care!
