Well, it's 2001! I can't believe another year flew by. Our New Year's party was fun. A few friends ended up staying the night because they drank too much. I was up till 3 a.m. What was I thinking?! :) So we snoozed off and on the next day. Brad had to work nights so I went to my SIL's and watched the Fiesta Bowl. Oregon State won! Yeah! Go Beavs! They haven't been to a bowl game in 34 years. How exciting!

On the TTC front -- I'm glad I didn't wait. My level ended up being at 5 and they said I was fine. I was going to still wait on using my fertility monitor, though. I don't know why. But Brad said, "That's why we bought it!" Now I'm glad I did start it. The last three days have read high and this morning is day 13 and it read peak. Yeah! Brad is asleep though. ARG! He worked last night 6 to 6 and again tonight 6 to 6. Hope we can fit BD'ing in. If this is our month it's a September baby for us. I just hope it doesn't end in m/c again. The doctor said I'm just fine and it shouldn't happen again. I believe her but am starting to get nervous. I probably will be for the first three months.

Thinking of all this baby stuff, I came across some fun sites on the Web -- baby gender predictions. It's a chart that you cross reference your age at conception and the month you conceived and it tells you what you're going to have. Hee Hee!! I don't know how real this is but it's fun. My SIL tried it and only two of her four kids were right. For my first baby they all said girl. If I were to get PG this month they said boy. If we aren't lucky and we're on to next month it's a toss up. Some say boy, some say girl. I don't care as long as it's OK!
