Finally a new entry! Sorry but I've been busy. I did get over my cold though! Quite a bit has happened since I last posted. For one, Mother's Day was nice. We had a picnic here at the house with my parents, grandparents and and my grandpa's sister. After we ate we went down to our pond and trout fished. It was nice and sunny and had a great time. A friend of mine gave me a Mother-to be card with a hanging basket for my porch. And my mom gave me a card with a huge ivy geranium basket for my porch. They look great hanging from our new cover. I just love our deck now. It's so nice to sit out there and relax on my padded lounge chair. We live out in the country so it's nice and quiet!
Second--Dh hurt himself and has been off work for 2 weeks. I must say he was quite a dork. I'm not even going to go into detail about what he did. He was on an ATV and should have known better. End of story. He's ok now though.
And of course I saved the best for last! My DR's appt. went great!! I love my new Dr. and her nurse. The appt. started like all others with medical history, weight, blood pressure and peeing in a cup. Then we went through my m/c in detail and I gave the name of that Dr. so they can have my records sent over to them. Then we met with the Dr. and discussed any questons that I had. And then out of the blue she said, "Let's go take a look at it!" I was so excited. I thought I had to wait til the end of the week when I had an u/s sheduled. She took us into the u/s room, sqeezed a bunch of goop on my belly and about 2 seconds later our baby was on the screen. Heartbeat and all!! It measured 8 weeks so I'm right on schedule. And the heartbeat was 150 beats per min. which she said was right in range where it should be. She gave me 4 pictures to take home too! My due date is still the same 12-29-01. The DR. said that everythhing looked great and my % rate of another m/c has dropped dramatically. I hope everything will stay ok. I feel much better about this PG but will still stay a little nervous until I get over that 1st trimester hurdle. My symptoms have become alot more strong in the past week. I am so queezy all day now and more tired. I must sleep 10 hours with a nap in the afternoon. I carry saltines around with me all day. They seem to help a little. I've only gained 3 lbs. so far which is hardly anything compared to last time. I gained 13 lbs. by week 10 of my last PG. Of course this time I have no appitite due to so much queeziness.
So with all that said, I guess I'm ok until I go back to the DR next month on the 12th. I'll be 12 weeks then. I hope everyone else is doing ok! I got an e-mail asking when I wanted to move to the PG diaries. I said whenever! No one has given me a date when I get to move so hopefully I can post a goodby entry and leave a bunch of baby dust in my spot!
