Hi ladies!
My entry this week is late, unlike AF who arrived a
day early! I just sat in the bathroom alone and cried
before realizing I had no feminine products in the
house expect for panty liners, so I was off to the
store. I ended up doing my grocery shopping for the
next two weeks which was very costly considering I was
in a depressed state of mind. DH and I have a few
Christmas parties to go to this week so I am hoping
those will raise my spirits. I guess you could say one
good thing came out of AF starting: I have set my
fertility monitor for day 1 and I am ready to go.
Tammy W., if you are reading this I am sure I will be
emailing a lot of questions to you!
I do have something funny yet very embarrassing to report this week. DH and I took "Madison," our female Boxer, to have her shots done on Saturday. We are really strange but whenever we take one dog to the vet we have to take the other because they cannot stand to be apart. I know that is awful but the last time we did this "Ace," our male Boxer, injured himself trying to find or get to Madison who was at the vet being spayed. But anyway, to make a long story short we were waiting to see the doctor when Ace decided to check our their beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Rob was leading him around and I told him you better not let him near the tree ... yikes! It was too late, he had "christened" the tree. I was so embarrassed! I am really paranoid about letting him around my tree -- thus to say I am checking it frequently!
I am happy to report that I only have three more presents to buy for Christmas!! Yeah!!! My goal is to have all my shopping done and wrapped before Dec. 19 when I start vacation so I am really close to my goal.
This past weekend we went to my nephew's second birthday party. It was such a neat party because after each present that he opened he walked over and gave the person a hug, kiss and a thank you. I am going to try and scan a picture this week to send in with my next diary entry of the party.
Are there any Chicago residents out there? I feel for you dearly with all the snow you got overnight. Here in Ohio we had a nasty wind storm come through last night with strong 60 mph gusts wreaking havoc! I got to work last night and 90 percent of the town I work in was without power. I continually answered calls of what residents were to do and yes, that the power company is aware of the outage. I wanted to rip my hair out by morning because at one point the power went out again and our generator did not kick in right away so I sat in the complete pitch black dark for about three minutes. I think I will be taking candles to work tonight. We are expecting 3 inches of snow tonight so winter is coming just in time for Christmas.
I wish all the luck to the ladies on the 2ww! Tammy W. I am thinking about you! Lots of love and Merry Christmas wishes to everyone!
Happy holidays!
Carmajo
