Good morning, ladies!
I am so proud of myself! I worked out this morning after I got off work, finally! I have decided I also need to concentrate on losing a few pounds and also try to keep those extra holiday pounds off. We have a really nice exercise room at work with some new equipment so I am going to take advantage of it!
Not much at all is happening on the TTC front. I received my monitor in the mail last week but did not start using it because it was too late in my cycle. I should ovulate sometime this week but no symptoms yet, plus this month is the left side which is possibly not operable. I started taking my temps last week to start a comparison chart to go along with the fertility monitor. I am really surprised at how expensive it will be each month for the test sticks. I have a 34-36 day cycle so if I start at day 5 of the month I will use quite a few sticks. I will have to start checking the web for prices on a jumbo box.
DH and I had a heart to heart talk this past week about TTC. I don't know how to say this and make it sound right but I will try my best. Does anyone else's DH get tired of the planned BD? I hate to say this but I agree with him! We are on different shifts (me, midnights and DH, days) and trying to coordinate BDing with our schedules is like we have to "schedule appointments" and the spontaneity is gone. I know that probably sounds awful, we have only been married three years but it is starting to bum us both out. Any suggestions? I think we just need to communicate with each other better and maybe spice it up!! hehe!! smile smile!!
On to another subject, rather than BDing! We are thinking about booking a cruise for next year. We went on a Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon and loved it. I think a seven-day cruise would be great for both of us, just to get away! I am going to have to check into the cruise insurance to see if it covers cancellation just in case I get pregnant in the meantime. I am not too sure my doctor will let me go on a cruise anytime during the pregnancy due to my problems with my uterus. I am checking prices right now and will probably book something after the holidays!!
I hate to cut this short but I need to get some zzz's! Congratulations to Cherylyn!! Love and hugs all around the board!!
