Hello!!!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! My day has
been pretty awesome. DH and I are keeping our two
nephews and niece overnight tonight. We started the
day by going to McDonald's for lunch, which they
loved. Tyler had a soccer game and won! We came home,
ate supper, watched a movie and they are all snuggled
in bed. Emmalyn and I did each other's makeup and hair
about 10 times and even painted our nails. Needless to
say, this weekend has made me even more anxious to get
pregnant so I am going to keep a really positive
attitude and HOPE and PRAY my time comes soon.
I went to the doctor for my follow up visit to my HSG last week. I received better news than I was expecting, so I am glad. My doctor (I am still seeing my regular OB/GYN) told me I do have a split uterus, my left fallopian tube is totally blocked and he also believes my left ovary is inoperable. LUCK as it would be, everything on the right side works fine. He thinks I have a pretty good chance so we are going to try two more cycles, then consult back with the doctor.
My mother-in-law thinks I should see if he will prescribe Clomid to help, but I don't think that would be a good idea since I have a smaller uterus and I don't want to risk the chance of twins or even more. I will have a tough enough time carrying one child with half the uterus size. By the way, I don't think I mentioned my mother-in-law is a nurse -- an OB nurse. I am very lucky because she has been there with DH and me with both surgeries and she even came with me to my HSG.
Today is CD11 so we have a busy week ahead of us!!! DH doesn't know yet, but I am sure he won't complain! hehe!! I am trying to make this more romantic instead of saying, "It's that time of the month, give it up!" DH and I have the next two days off work so wish us luck! My normal "O" day is day 14 so keep all your fingers crossed. I sure hope I am not late 'cause we are working opposite schedules, and I am on midnights!
Well lots of luck and ****baby dust**** to everyone!!
