Carmajo B's Diary Entries

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a good week. Today is my third wedding anniversary so this entry might be a little short so I can spend some quality time with the DH.

My day was going really great till good old AF started showing some signs!!!! Yuck!! I was so upset as all of you have experienced BUT the good news is that I have not started bleeding so maybe she is just fooling me. I have had a lot of friends tell me that the first cycle after conception that they still have some cramping and other PMS symptoms.

I am anxious to go back to the doctor next week to see if he feels I should be referred to a specialist. I am still seeing my regular OB GYN but I am lucky because he does deal with quite a bit of infertility. I have been thinking about purchasing a fertility monitor. How many of you use these? I noticed they are a little expensive but heck I have probably spent that much already on OPK kits and HPT. I am really going to talk to the doctor about the possibility that I am not really ovulating. I have all the symptoms but you just never know.

I have a busy week ahead of me because we are getting ready to rotate shifts. I am going to the dreaded midnight shift for three months. This is the only bad part of my job is that we have to change shifts and it takes us 24 months to complete the rotation. I have been on day shift by luck for nine months because of trading another employee and I am going to pay for it now by working nights during the holidays. I am hoping this does not put too much stress on my body! That is all I need to add to the list.

I also wanted to ask readers and other diary writers if anyone has started the process or is interested in adoption? I still want to continue my journey of trying to conceive a child with DH but there are so many children out there right now that need loving and supportive families.

Well, I better get off her and save something for my next entry!!
