Carmajo B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 20, 2001

I finally found my password amongst lots of junk email. I have a bad habit of saving way too much. As I posted on my TTM board my computer (bless it's soul) is either D.O.A. (dead on arrival) or getting ready to kick the bucket. Dh is working on it so for know I will have to sneak in on his comptuer.

Well we have set up a plan to save a big chunk of cash for IVF. I have direct deposit of my paycheck at work and I am going to just divert $600. a pay period to our savings account (so we never even see it) to save it. Dh said as soon as we save $4,000 he will sale his Harley and we will be on our way. We have even talked about doing a payment plan if that is even possible. Among the above ideas after our new roof is put on in the next week we are putting our house up for sale and should net some profit from that. Our little money saving minds are hard at work.

Next on the agenda, my RE's office STILL has not gotten back to me about pre-authorizing the serophene and profasi with DH's insurance. Normally I would not be such a pain because it will only be around $100. for the first month but dag on it I am saving for IVF and every little penny that the insurance will pay for will help. I pay big bucks for this insurance so I definitely want to use it. I got a "treatment plan" letter from Dr. A (the RE) this week. I am really super impressed with the doctor but his office staff is souring me on the whole experience. I am going to wait and see when AF arrives and go from there.

By the way, I am on CD33 just awaiting AF's arrival. I have had long cycles before so I am not getting too excited plus I have been off the clomid for 2 months now so I figure I will be back to the longer cycles.

Last but certainly NOT least, CONGRATULATIONS to my cycle buddy Jennifer B!
We were long due for a +hpt and I am so happy for you! May you have an amazing 9 months.

Hugs,

Carmajo
