July 3, 2001

Happy Fourth of July to everyone!
Not much to report on the ttc journey. I am on cd16 of my first non-medicated cycle of clomiphene. I certainly can tell the difference of not being on the clomiphene. My CM has definitely come back very plentiful except I am not sure ovulation is going to occur. Other than the CM I have had no other sign or symptom. Believe it or not I am not freaking out! We are just waiting till my next cycle to start to begin our testing to see if we will be good candidates for IVF. I finally got dh's SA appointment scheduled for next week.
I think my visit to the RE led me in a different path so to speak. I am not worrying or being obsessive anymore. I packed away all my TTC books and also my monitor. This past week has been so refreshing and stress-free. I am not going to give up on TTC by a long shot but I have to change before I drive myself looney. I am sure you all understand this feeling.

I am offically on the graveyard shift at work for three months. I really don't mind it except Rob and I never get to actually cuddle in the morning. I actually kind of miss his snoring. Is that awful or what?
I will survive though! I am back on dayshift for the last three months of the year so that will make up for it.

Dh's 28th birthday is coming up next week. His mother is really stressing me out. His family is really into parties so she expects to have a party for him. I tried to get around it by saying we are really busy so instead she wants to have a swimming party at her house because that is what she wants to do. DRIVES ME NUTS! Rob would be very happy with just everyone going out to a nice simple dinner but nope it has to be his mother's way. Whew got that off my chest!
Sure hope she don't stumble on this webpage;)

Well I better quit ranting and raving! I have to get ready for work!

Have a great holiday!

CJ
