Carmajo B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

April 2, 2001

Happy Monday! Normally I would not say that but DH and I played hooky from work today. I took a personal day and we spent the day together. I actually got him to go shopping, we washed our cars, played video games and did laundry. What a romantic day huh?

Today is cd17 with my second day of peak fertility according to my monitor. This cycle has been very different than the last cycle on clomiphene. This past Thursday and Friday I was having such bad pelvic and back pain I thought AF was going to arrive. Friday evening the pain went away but I had a heavy pressure like feeling in the pelvic area. My exact words to my MIL were "it feels like something is going to fall out of there!" After that episode everything went back to normal. I go to the doctor this Friday for my cd21 appointment. I am very excited to see what my progestrone level is since I did not have one done on the first cycle.

We have decided after we get back from vacation next month we are going to check into adoption through our local Children Service's Bureau. I would love to do a private adoption but we just do not have the money for that. I will still try for an infant because I do know they are out there since my MIL takes care of them all the time in the "special care nursery." My MIL was telling me about a little boy born last week to a 15 year old mother that was placed with the County Children's Services Bureau for adoption. The nurses' named him "Peter". He was 3 lbs. 15 oz. at birth because mother dieted during her pregnancy. Other than the low birth weight "Peter" was in perfect health. Hearing these stories from my MIL give me hope that we will be able to adopt an infant even if it takes awhile.

Not much else to report this week!
Hey Jerri you are in my thoughts!
Congratulations to Jennifer!
Good luck to Amy on her 2WW!

Hugs,

Carmajo
