Hello Ladies!
I hope everyone is having a nice week. The weather here in Ohio is so great today. I can actually go outside with a jacket on. I better not get too excited because I think we are getting some snow at the end of the week, YUCK! Wouldn’t you know that Phil the ground hog saw his shadow so we are in for six more weeks of winter!
On the TTC front I am just waiting in limbo. I finally picked up my prescription this afternoon. I ended up getting the generic form of Clomid. The doctor wrote the script for the name brand Clomid but DH’s insurance will barely pay any of the name brand cost but will pay almost the entire generic brand’s cost. I talked to the nurse at my doctor’s office and she said it was not a problem at all most of their patient’s take the generic brand. So enough of that, I am just waiting for AF to show. I am pretty sure I did not ovulate last month by looking at my chart/calendar and the readings on my monitor. I got a peak reading on days 15-16 versus my normal 21-22 day peak level. I did not have any pain what so ever and last month I could feel some cramping on my left side on the two peak days. My cm was very sparse also so I sure hope this medicine does its thing. I will definitely keep my TTM board updated once I start the medicine next week.
This weekend is my niece Isabella’s 1st birthday party. I went shopping with my MIL last night for her birthday presents. It was so hard to look through baby clothes. I just keep a positive frame of mind thinking this time next year I will be shopping for my baby. I am really excited though because for once I will be off work for a family function instead of arriving late.
I am on a mission…. EXERCISE MISSION that is! I started working out faithfully this week after work in our exercise room at work. My favorite machine is an elliptical trainer. I am focusing on my legs, thighs and behind. I just keep reminding myself I want to get into a decent swimsuit for vacation in May so I better get to work. I also have to keep in mind when I do get pregnant I will only be able to walk on the treadmill to keep my heart rate down. I am sure a lot of the women writing diaries or reading them have been in my same position. I have gained 10 lbs in the last year. I have a bad habit of eating when I am depressed. I am working on that though! I also have to learn chocolate is NOT necessary to cure the PMS blues! I have not weighed myself in a few days. I am not so much worried about the weight as I am toning up! Today was only my 3rd faithful day but I have made myself a promise. When I complete 4 weeks of honest exercising and training I am going to treat myself to a shopping trip. I am going to buy some new workout clothes and of course a new bathing suit for vacation. Wish me luck!
Hey Katie H…I am so glad that you liked Dr. G! Katie and I live real close. Dr. G is one of the 3 preferred RE’s on my insurance plan. I have not yet made the big step of going on to a specialist but it is comforting to know that I know someone who likes the doctor.
Well good luck to everyone on the 2WW! Healthy vibes to all of our newly pregnant diary writers!
Hugs!
CJ
