Hello ladies!
I hope everyone is having a good week. There is not much to report on the TTC front again this month. AF came for one of her last visits this morning. I will be setting my monitor tomorrow and will be testing with it again this month. This is only my second month using the monitor so I am very intrigued by it. I will not begin Clomid until next cycle as I explained in my last entry so when I do get pregnant I can take off 12 weeks instead of the basic six weeks maternity leave. Also while I am talking about the monitor – if anyone spots a good price on the testing strips please let me know. Because of my cycles being long, I use A LOT of sticks and it is already getting expensive, but well worth it as you all know.
I am so glad the holidays are over! I am ready for spring time so I can get to work on my herb garden and flower beds! DH built me a really nice landscaped area to plant herbs and flowers. I am really lucky because I did not have to buy an herb plants because my mother in law gave me many starts from her plants last years. My mother in law has a herb garden the size of most peoples regular planting gardens. Does anyone grow herbs? I have to do some transplanting this year and move everything away from my porch area because we have a hot tub on that side of the garden and I think the water splashing over the side killed a few of my plants last year. I made the BIG mistake of planting mint! I had mint a mile away! just kidding but it really took off and overtook a lot of my plants. Does anyone know of any herbs that are bad for fertility? just wondering!
I am planning a mini shopping vacation for the first weekend in February with an old high school friend. Does anyone on the diaries or do any readers collect Longaberger baskets? I am an avid collector. My friend Kelli is a consultant so we are going to Zanesville, Ohio to a secondary market sell and then will travel on up to Dresden and the Longaberger Homestead for some major shopping! DH is probably thinking "There goes our savings" but I promised myself I would not go crazy. I am really looking hot and heavy for a Longaberger basket made in the 1980s that is a cradle. I want this to be my first decoration for my nursery. I have had no luck so far except for the mini cradle which is not my first choice. This trip will be a long awaited time to get away with a girlfriend and have a good time I am sure.
I hate to cut this entry off short but I have some housework to do as usual. I hope everyone has a great week! Congratulations to all the pregnant women! Good luck to Sheryl on her 2ww! Good luck Cindy, I hope Clomid works for ya! I will not be far behind ya!
Hugs to everyone!!
