I am sorry that I did not post before today, but I have been terribly sick. One of the times this week I was at the drs, I caught the flu and man did it catch me! I am feeling much better now but still not 100% back to the way I was feeling.
We got a bit of sad news at the u/s, the RE is almost positive the heartbeat that we are getting is a maternal heart beat. It was in the same range as mine so they are certain that is what it is. Now, we just have to wait for nature to takes its course- the RE said that the sac would dissolve into my body and shouldnt cause any side effects. Baby A & B had wonderful heart beats at about around 170. My RE released me this week and I also had my first appt with the perinatologist (sp) and she seems to be great. The practice is really on top of things, they like to catch problems before they catch me. I will have an u/s every time I go which will be every 3 weeks. On 11/7, I have my Nuchal Fold u/s which checks for Downs and Trisonmy 18 and several other birth defects. Its something new but supposed to be much more effective than the AFP.
Thank you everyone for all the wonderful prayers and well wishes, I am sorry that I have not responded but I havent had much energy to type at the computer.
Congrats to all the newly pregnant ladies, I am so excited for all of you! And my thoughts go our to Michelle for the loss of her father.
I think that I may close my diary, I just dont feel right posting here anymore- I know how unfair it is to all these ladies who so much want what I have.
