Candace W's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

November 28, 2000

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I did. Al took over cooking everything (as he does every year) and I ate lots of turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, and veggies with cheese sauce. It's the one day of the year where I feel we have something as a family, since there's no pressure to go to my parents' house. On Christmas I always feel vaguely guilty if I'm not visiting Mom and Dad up north. I also enjoyed the four-day weekend I had. It's nice to have a little break.

Everything may be up in the air for the moment, but I do know one thing (yay ... well, I know more than one thing, I know many things!). I can't start TTC until I have that stupid varicella vaccine! I mean I could, and maybe there wouldn't be any problems, but I do not want to take the chance that I could get the chicken pox. So, I guess this leaves my diary more lame than usual. The soonest this would happen would be in January, when Alexandria has her next pediatrician appointment, since we both need to get the shot at the same time. I guess I'll still submit entries, but I imagine there won't be much to say. As if there really is now. Ha, ha.

How's this for funny? I was looking in my computer programming notes early this morning (try like 1:20 a.m.) and I found I have an exam today! Ha, ha. I only have a few ideas of what is going to be on it. I hope I can do well, but the chances are slim.

Well, that's all for this week. Hope everyone is rested from their break!

Candace
