Okay, I admit it. I now have a temping obsession. I have even changed the time I set my alarm to better suit my pattern of waking! It’s driving me nuts. I obsess if I have to get up and pee, thinking, “this is going to screw up my temperatures for sure!” I obsess when I roll over, when I lie awake in bed at 4:00 a.m., when I move too much, and when I crack my ankles while I am taking my temperature. It’s just pure craziness. I was so against temping, and now I am a temping fool. Emphasis on fool. Anyway, as far as I know, I have already ovulated this month, so another egg down the tubes (so to speak). = )
Logically, I know I need to wait, to be in the best possible shape to conceive. I need to have everything squared away. I especially need to have my back straightened out, and you can’t do electrode (galvanic) therapy (which they do at the chiropractor) when you may be pregnant. I am really trying not to be too impatient, but I am tired of waiting.
I am going to keep this shorter than I intended. I want to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. I will be spending mine with my family up by Chicago (suburbs, not real Chicago!) and we’ll be having all of the fixings. This will be the first time all of us will be together (minus my sister who lives in Arizona, but she hasn’t been with us in years and years anyway) in about 4 years, which is when Al and I moved to Cape Girardeau, for my undergraduate degree.
Anyway, as I mentioned, I hope everyone has a great turkey-day. I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a new home, a wonderful husband (mostly), enough money that we’re not going to starve, and a toddler that is screaming to go to bed. I guess I will have to wrap up this entry! Hopefully, I will have something a little more substantial to report next week.
