Happy Mole Day to any chemists out there!
This has been a weird cycle. Good old AF arrived a little more than one week early. I have been keeping track with Outlook, so I kept good on that promise. I earned my highest grade yet on this past Organic exam, so that's made me pretty happy, too.
Yesterday Al and I spent much of the day trying to clean up "the back room." We rent a house, and this room used to be a garage. We were told by the landlord's son (who used to live here) that this garage-turned-bedroom was built by a bunch of drunks. Judging from the quality of construction, this isn't difficult to believe. We can look outside without using a window. We found an earthworm inside the house, about three feet away from the door (or crack in the wall) he used to enter. I cannot stress how much I want to have a house of our own. There are so many spiders inside, it's unbelievable. And they aren't little ones, either. Usually they are at least the size of a quarter. Did I mention that I really hate spiders?
Anyway, we spent much of Sunday cleaning out this room, breaking down cardboard boxes (we order a lot of things online rather than buy it here), vacuuming, organizing, etc. The treadmill we own is now exposed (not buried in junk!). And sooner or later, I am going to have to use it.
Before TTC, I need to lose a few pounds, and get into better shape. So, one of these days I will have to start an exercise regimen. I was a track and cross-country runner in high school, but it's so hard to make time to exercise. (Excuses, excuses.) Once I start, I find myself enjoying the physical exertion, but merely getting on the treadmill is infinitely harder than the actual workout. Let's not even talk about my eating habits. Groan. My diet needs an overhaul.
I also would like to stop my habit of biting the inside of my mouth. It's a dumb habit, and I have been trying to stop for at least one year now. I go in long cycles of not biting it, and then biting it. Once I stop biting it, I tend to not do it for years. Once I start, it's rather hard to break. I've come close in the past few days, but haven't quite managed. Grrr. I don't really know how that cream has been working, other than that I ought to stop using it. It makes me itch so badly. I am supposed to use it for 14 days, but I am sure the tube will run out before then. I'll just use the whole thing, and then that's it. Hopefully, it will do what it's supposed to. I know, I know, I ought to talk to the nurse about it, but like many people like myself, I lack motivation. If it bothered me a lot, I guess I would do something about it.
Well, that's about all there is for this week. Have a good week!
Candace
