Okay! Read on to find out whatever that means...
I know it’s been more than a while since I last wrote, but there was essentially nothing to report to on the TTC front. My life other than that, was stressful, busy, insane, and made me totally miserable, but I think I’m through that now!
Anyway, I did have the titer done to see if I was ever exposed to chicken pox. And the results were “okay”. Yes, the doctor’s office called and said that! I called them back and asked what the hell “okay” meant. The receptionist then rattled off my results (something about how they were “less than one in ten”), which to me, meant the results definitely weren’t okay, they were negative! After about a month of wrangling, I finally twisted the information out of them…that I have never been exposed to it!! Anyway, Alexandria and I are getting our shots for varicella on Tuesday. Wish us luck that we don’t actually come down with the virus, because I will be finishing the 4-week term (it’s the last week this week, yahoo!) and I will then have completed my mathematics minor, and then I will be one course away from an ACS-certified Chemistry degree! I am really excited about that, since the Spring semester was hell on earth. And a month later, I have to get a second varicella shot, and then you must wait 3 months after the last shot before TTC. So, that’s where that stands!
Al and I have accomplished much in the time that I didn’t write. I went to my phony graduation ceremony, my parents came in for a visit, we bought a house up in Champaign, and we’re starting to pack. We’re most excited about the house, of course. We both agreed on it, and me made an offer (which wasn’t accepted) but we accepted his counter-offer. Basically, he wanted us to move in a month earlier, or pay $1000 more than we offered. We did some calculations, and figured it would be cheaper to “move” in a month early. I can hardly wait! This is going to my first real home, and even better, is that it’s a new home. If I had pictures, I’d post them, but we didn’t really have much of a chance to take them. It was hard enough trying to keep Alexandria reigned in. Well, our loan hasn’t been approved yet (but we haven’t been rejected) but I don’t think that’s going to be a problem at all.
Well, I think that’s all that’s been going on in my neck of the woods. I may pop in here and there to keep everyone updated on what is going on while I am playing the waiting game. Good luck to all the ladies this month, and let’s see some +’s out there!
