TTC #2 C2 CD2
I am actually writing this on Monday, but I am not going to post it until tomorrow. I really wanted to have the 2-2-2 thing going on as above. It’s not a lucky number for me or anything, but I am mildly weird (and it’s cool to me), so there!
AF started for me on Monday, but it wasn’t a big surprise. I did feel the temptation to take an HPT, but I decided not to, because there really was almost no chance. I am proud of myself!
Last time I wrote, I was in the throes of nausea. The morning after I made my entry was the worst. I was up at 4:00 a.m. and by 6:00 I was dry-heaving. I finally found some Emetrol at Wal-Mart today, and I am going to be keeping it in the bathroom in case the nausea returns. I don’t want to be puking that up, though. I hope the stuff works, or better yet...I hope I don’t get sick this time! I don’t know if it was stress or something else. Maybe all the pills I’ve been popping?
Speaking of pills, Al is allergic to the Saw Palmetto I’ve been making him take. So, I took him off that. It was giving him an itchy rash on the tops of his feet up to his ankles at night. I figured it had to be that, because that’s the only herb he’s taking. All the rest are vitamins, minerals, or amino acids.
I feel like I am ready this time. I hope Al is (snicker). So far no one in the house is ill, and I would be due in December, just like with Alexandria. I think I would be due around the 18th of December. I am all for that! So, I hope this cycle is the one. We are just waiting for the BD fest (again!). I tried to hint to Al that we needed some practice, and he told me, “Shouldn’t the paramedics stop the bleeding first?” He’s just too funny. Ha! Anyway, I am set to ovulate (according to my software) on April Fool’s Day. It sounds good to me!
I am trying to avoid refined sugar (almost impossible!), and drink plenty of water, as well Green Tea. I okay with the water, I just haven’t gotten around to drinking the tea much yet. I’ve never been much of a fan of tea.
Okay, one last thing that I noticed around October, but kept forgetting to mention until now! This is going to be my minor gripe of the week. LOL Since I am a grad student, I don’t have the (dis)pleasure of co-workers becoming pregnant, so I have to find other ways of getting disturbed. I am a big fan of the funnies, comics, whatever. I read them in the paper every day. So, when first Wanda from the Baby Blues comic got pregnant, I was somewhat amused! Then, Deanna from For Better or for Worse got pregnant, too! All I could think was, “Even the stupid comic strip characters are getting pregnant! Aaaaargghh!”. Okay, so that wasn’t really a big rant, but I thought it was kind of funny. Then, there’s Al old friend from work, who helped us load furniture down in Cape Girardeau before we moved. He’s possibly in his late 30’s, early 40’s. He just became a grandfather two weeks ago. His daughter just had a baby boy, that he referred to as a “surprise”. I gather he didn’t even know she was pregnant. I feel awful for them, it’s not going to be easy. Randy is a nice guy, he just tries to do the best he can. He and his wife are divorced, and she was so unstable that he got full custody. I feel bad that he now has this on his plate.
Anyway, those are my thoughts for the week. I am on Spring Break this week (wonderful!) and I may be around on the boards more often than I usually am! I noticed the pregnancy site has tons of new writers in there! I am just glad the diaries are getting updated. I think they’re doing a wonderful job.
Good luck this week ladies, and extra hugs for Jerri Ann! Take it easy, and take it one day at a time!
Candace
