TTC #2 C1 CD 5
So far nothing much new is going on in my cycle. I am just waiting for AF to stop, which she oddly enough, has already done. Normally, she lasts about 6 days, but flow is almost none right now. Maybe it’s due to my wholesome living? I’ve been trying to limit my sugar intake, but I don’t think I really have that much. I also have been taking all of my potions and vitamins…which are numerous. I am a regular junkie, ha!
Other than that, I am waiting for the egg, once again. I am due to ovulate around the 7th, which is the exact same day as our first Enzyme Mechanisms exam. Okay, now tell me that that isn’t poor timing! I am not going to be getting all stressed out about it, because I’m going to be too busy relaxing and not studying. Oh, well…and that *other* thing, too! I have already mentally prepared myself for not getting stressed out. I will find a little happy place to go to (like in Happy Gilmore) while I take my exam and make up answers, so as not to disturb my body’s natural rhythms. In other words, I’m looking for an excuse *not* to study. Ha!
We just got here about 1 inch of snow. Since we haven’t had any snow (just a little dusting, not enough to cover the ground) here at all this entire winter, I am somewhat excited. I wish I had bought Alexandria a sled. I also wish it had come at Christmastime instead of now. It’s a bit late. We’re supposed to get more this night, about 4-5 inches. That’s definitely sled weather! Maybe I can con Al into going out tomorrow and picking one up. It’s pretty flat around here, and I am not sure where I could drag Alexandria, though.
Well, I am afraid that is all I have to say for this week. Al has been busy buying little things for the house to decorate it. He’s bought a bunch of pictures to hang on the wall, a little Van Gough and some other prints, as well as a full-length mirror for our bathroom (like I want to see my ugly butt naked, yikes!). If only we could unpack everything (yes, more than 6 months later, we still have junk in boxes) and get our new couch and kitchen set delivered (any day now, it’s been 6 weeks!), and pick up a few more things, like a bookcase for Alexandria’s room (a kiddie one) and some other things like that, and then I’ll feel like we’re settled in. That, and a pregnancy, of course!
Good luck to all of you this month, and congratulations to Crystal! It looks like 2002 is shaping up to be a good year for the precon writers!
