I'm sorry I missed last week, I've been very busy doing nothing!! Well AF arrived 1 day late. I tested at 12 DPO and got a neg. I was so upset. I've made an appointment to see my OB on Jan 17th; it's now been 8 months since we lost our baby, and I've had enough. I'm sure that the doctor won't find anything wrong but I'd like to have all the tests just in case. I have no doubt that I'll walk away from his offices with a script to just keep on trying but at least I'll know that we have a chance. We're gearing up big time for Christmas, but this year is definitely tinged with sadness, my little boy would have been 3 months old. Near the top of my Christmas tree is a tiny gold angel that watches over us, it was given to me by a friend whose son died last year at age 5. She said it was an angel for our baby Timothy. I cried when I put it up but I love it being there, it brings him into mind and makes me feel so peaceful.
I finally got to the beach this week. It was just divine but today it's just a memory as the weather has turned cold and wet. We had Christmas Carols in our local plaza tonight but the rain put a swift end to that. All the kids have now broken up for Christmas and they're everywhere, shopping is now impossibly slow. My DH's parents arrive this Thursday for a few days, they're the loveliest people and so easy to get on with, aren't I lucky!!!
I know you'll now be reading this after Christmas, but I hope you all have/had the most wonderful Christmas and may the new millennium be filled with much love, peace and dirty nappies!! How exciting to be living in the year 2000. My daughter keeps saying in 14 days she'll be able to say that next year she'll be 15. UGH!!!!! I can't believe my little baby is growing up as fast as she is.
God bless and take care,
Becky
