October 3, 1999
Hi everyone!!!
Today is October 3rd: the date my little boy was due. My hearts breaks for the little boy I will now never know. I wish when I delivered him that I had taken his photo and had been able to get his little foot and hand prints.
Life goes on.... My DH and I are going down to Canberra for 2 days on a romantic jaunt!! I'm due to O on Wednesday but with all the EWCM I'm getting, I think it may happen earlier (for a change). I haven't charted my temps AT ALL, in fact I've hidden my thermometer away so that I can't see it and be tempted. I had no idea how stressed out I was becoming about my temps, I had every intention of starting to take my temps around O time but the thought of going through the associated stress is just not worth it so the thermometer is staying away!!! I am very lucky as I get lots of EWCM that increases each day until I O so I can really pinpoint my fertile days.
I have been on holidays for a week now and I've done absolutely NOTHING. I've read tons of book and slept so much. I wish I could feel like this all the time. Unfortunately, this is the calm before the storm. My next 10 weeks are going to be frantic, in fact, it's probably just as well if we don't conceive now, I can't imagine going through this time with M/S UGH!!! Speaking of UGH!!!! my daughter has been just wonderful lately, I wonder if this too is the calm before the hurricane. I don't feel old enough to have a teenage daughter. It's funny that the first time I was a mum I was always a 'young' mum and this time I won't be quite so young, if we end up having 3 kids I'll be an 'older' mum at 37.
I'm going back to my book and bed (how luxurious). Good luck and lots of patience vibes to those that are waiting.
Keep smiling
Becky
