Hi everyone!!!! Well I was due to O on Saturday but I've been so sick with the flu that I hoped it wouldn't happen on time. I was so glad when all signs of EWCM that I had dried up. I went and bought some OPK tests on Thursday as I've no idea when the big day will happen. I woke up this AM to find my temps right down and although the OPK was still neg. it was darker than before, so hopefully O is just around the corner. I think we'll wait until Tues or Wed before the baby dancing begins. It was Fathers Day this weekend in Oz so my DH and DD spent the loveliest Sunday visiting koi farms and plant nurseries. I've been working and working in my little garden; Spring is such a beautiful time of the year. We have Jasmine everywhere and the smell in the air is exquisite.
My daughter went to her first dance on Saturday night, it's so scary! She's a reasonably sensible girl and I know that she would never get into trouble on purpose, it's just that sometimes before you know it, the trouble is there. We had a young girl by the name of Anna Wood die after taking a drug for the first time. Her Mum goes to High Schools and talks to the young teenagers about drugs. You always hope that your child will say NO, but sometimes even with all the knowledge that they have, peer pressure gets the better of them and....... My daughter has always been so anti-drugs, cigarettes and alcohol all her life but the other day she said when she's older she would like to try smoking just once. I nearly died of shock. I told her that I would buy a packet and she could try one in the safety of her home but she said that that would be no fun!!!! Whilst smoking won't kill a 14/15 year old, the fact that they go to secret places so nobody can see them - might.
I can't believe that soon I'm going to have a baby in nappies and a daughter going through puberty. UGH!!!! What a combination.
Keep Smiling
Becky
