January 11, 2000
Hi everyone!!!!! I have a full household tonight; my daughter has three of her friends staying the night so I have four 13 years olds. They're all upstairs dying their hair and putting on fake tan. I've locked my bathroom door to keep them out of my make up, etc.Well AF arrived in full force on Monday (she wasn't due until Thursday). I O'd 3 days earlier than normal, I must have been super relaxed. I go to see my OB a week from today with a list of tests I want done.
I hate what this is doing to my life. We've now been TTC for 9 months, this is such a long time to have the level of stress and anxiousness in your life but as my dear father says, 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'. I'm starting back at the gym tomorrow to get fitter and thinner, and to try and occupy my mind in a different direction. I had yet ANOTHER person ask me this week if I was PG yet, when I said no she said, "Just relax and it will happen." I just burst out with, have you EVER tried for 9 months to fall pg?" Her face fell and she said no. "Well, when you have tried," I said, "for 9 long months to fall PG and you've coped with 9 months of disappointment, THEN come back and tell me how relaxed you are." She left quickly. I know I should have been nicer and more mature than to bite her head off, but she should have thought more carefully before coming out with that stupid and inane comment.
I have to tell you more about my baby fish, another of our koi fish has spawned and we now have a couple of HUNDRED baby fish!!!! My daughter also has a small tropical fish tank in her bedroom. The other night we were having a lovely chat when she started screaming, there in her tank was the tiniest baby fish swimming around -- she ran down and got her DD and we all sat ohhing and ahhing over this little baby. The mummy fish then swam past and........................ ate the baby. You should have seen the look on our faces. We ended up rescuing two babies and the mummy and daddy ate another four. So, we now have two tropical fish babies, 30 Black Moor fish babies and a couple of hundred koi fish babies. What more in life could you want!!!!!!!!
Good luck to everyone this month; stay calm and relaxed!!!!!!!!!
Becky
