Annie's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 1, 2002

Don't ya just hate when people think that you are expecting and you have to say, "No, that is just my gut." Even worse, have you ever said to anyone, "How far along are you?" and they look at you ....well you just know with that look that they are not expecting. Happy to say that we have a new addition to our (extended) family. My sister had her baby boy. They are doing well and I am so happy for them. I am so excited that we have a new member to our family and I just can't wait till Thanksgiving to see him.
I will also be testing around that time. Que Sera, sera but I am hoping that the baby boy cousin will have a cousin his age to play with.
I am so excited for Christmas. I am going to get that tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I am going artificial this year. The new pre-lit trees are so beautiful and somewhat pricey but I will give anything to now have to deal with a dry dead tree. I saw one at Costco for 150 bucks. It looks lovely and it rotates. LOL, do I really want a rotating tree? Can you believe that I am already thinking about this? I have already started my Christmas shopping. Love to look at things on-line. My family when to see Phantom of the Opera (my goodness, was it last year already??) and I want to get my step mom a Phantom of the Opera Music Box. I just love music boxes, especially when you can see the motor running. I think I had to much coffee this AM and I KNOW I SHOULDN"T BE DOING THAT. Well my son should be home any minute so I better make myself busy and mop.
Ciao darlings,
Annie
