Anne S''s Diary Entries

January 3, 2001

Hi girls,
This will have to be a short one cause I'm meetin' my dad, sister and hubbie at a swanky restaurant for seafood. And I don't think my dad realizes it but he's treatin'! I'm bad!!! So, I hope you all had a great holiday. I got lots of unexpected goodies for Christmas (new stereo system, clothes, skylight for my upstairs). OK, so the skylight I knew about. That would be hard to have installed in the house without my knowing! So, I guess it's back to the old grind. YUK! Actually, I like routine. That works best for me because I know what to expect.

As for TTC, since that's the point of this whole diary: After a 51-day cycle I got AF on Christmas day. Hey, at least it's an easy day to remember, huh? I really, really hope this next cycle is more timely. However, I do feel kinda lucky AF showed at all without the intervention of Provera. I have started back temperature charting and hope to keep better track of what's going on. Last cycle I have no idea if/when I O'd. I'm pretty much just sittin' back and takin' it easy though. I cannot allow myself to get too stressed about this TTC thing. I've let the stress take me over before and it's just not something I'm willing to do again.

Oh, one other thing: Joe and I put our house on the market today. We saw a house out in the country that is 2,600 square feet, has 5 acres of land, a pond and a stream. We love it. The only thing is that it is at least a 45- to 55-minute drive from my work, which sucks! But, we made an offer on it and should hear something back tomorrow. I'm crossin' my fingers. Until next week! Be good little girls, NOT!

Anne :)
