Introduction
I can't believe it's September already. The summer just flew by. It's already cooler in the morning. It smells like fall. The snow is on its way!
Well this will be my last entry here. I am going to move on to the Pregnancy Today diaries. My ultrasound went very well on Aug. 31. I was very nervous. My RE conducted the ultrasound and he measured everything and everything looks great. I could see the little heart beat flickering on the screen right away which really put my mind at ease. We could also see where the placenta was developing. The doctor turned something on so we could see colors on the screen. Where it was very red was where most of the blood was. It really showed up in the placenta and in the baby's heart. The heart beat was 141 bpm and I measured 7 weeks, 3 days. I know I'm not completely in the clear, but I feel much better. I am still using the progesterone suppositories twice a day. I meant to ask the doctor when I could stop, but in all my excitement I forgot all about it. I'll ask my regular doctor when I see him on the 8th.
I am getting a little nervous because I haven't been feeling as sick as I had been a couple of weeks ago. I'm so worried that my symptoms are disappearing and that something has gone wrong. What a worry wart I am! I can't wait until I'm past that 12-week mark so I can relax and completely enjoy this pregnancy. It will probably be my last one.
Good luck to everyone. Come and visit me at Pregnancy Today diaries.
Anne
