Anne's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

May 3, 2000

Well, there are no cycles to record and ovulation days anymore. Who cares what my temps are.

I'm PREGNANT!!!!

I went to the doctor's office this morning for a confirmation.

The story: I tested yesterday (Tuesday) and the negative line came up right away. A few minutes later I looked again, ready to throw it out and I looked real close. It looked like it might have some faint lines that make up the vertical lines of the "+." I showed DH and he said he saw it and asked if that meant I was "Ovulating." No, silly it's a PG test. He was ambivalent but, I knew. He kept telling me I'd know.

So I took another test today and the same thing happened but a few minutes later it was darker than yesterday's. There were a few minutes we cuddled in bed this morning during the waiting period. DH kissed me and hugged me. I was preparing for the worst. Especially since I thought it would show up quicker than it did yesterday. But, it was there!!! YEAH!!!

So, I just got back from the doctor's office and they confirmed it. I am so happy and excited. DH seems a bit confused and happy, kind of dumbfounded. We both have to act completely normal at work, you know!

I am very happy and I want to thank all my friends that I've met through these boards who have supported me and been there to be happy with me. I have definitely made friends for life. I'm glad I have you all. I pray for a healthy pregnancy with minimal problems and anticipate moving to the PG diaries. I hope that some of you women who are still trying will follow me there. And I pass on lots of ++++ thoughts to all of you too!!

So, my due date should be around January 12th.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anne
