Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!!!

I love the holidays, but they are so hectic!! We have to go to DH's family for lunch and then my family for supper, and they live an hour away, in opposite directions. My favorite part of the holidays, though, is the shopping. Every year, my mom and I go shopping the day after Thanksgiving.

We have also decided that we WILL find a car for me by Thanksgiving. No luck yet. A friend of mine from college called me last week and we talked for a long time. She and her DH are also trying to conceive. We got together on Saturday and went to all these different baby stores looking at all sorts of baby stuff. It was good to see that I am not the only one who goes into stores and plans a nursery. My friend also has a different perspective on her delivery. She wants to have her baby at home in an underwater birth. She asked me what my plan for delivery was, and I told her that I would be in the hospital with a lot of drugs. She also has a friend who is a midwife and she was giving my friend all sorts of advise on how to keep from having an episiotomy.

I also had an interesting conversation with my mom. Since my sister is PG and living with my parents, I have a lot of reservations about how my parents will respond when I am PG. There are some heirlooms that I wanted to have when we have a baby, but I thought that since my sister was in the house she would get them. My mother told me that I will get the items that she promised me, not to worry.

In a week, I will find out if AF will show up. It has taken all the willpower that I have not to run out and buy a test every time I have a symptom or we baby dance. I just keep my fingers crossed and hope that AF decides that she does not want to spend Thanksgiving with me!!! I would love to be PG by Christmas!!!!
