Angela's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 11, 2000

Hi!

Not too much has been going on this week. School started back, and I have two major papers to write. One of them I am obsessing about. I have to write a paper on a famous person (dead or alive) and analyze their behavior. I have no clue who I want to write about. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.

I am also trying not to stress over this whole baby thing. It seems like everyone I know has a baby or is pg. My sister's long saga is not helping matters much, and I know that I will literally be aching when the new baby gets here! She is scheduled to have her C-section sometime the week of March 13. They want to get the baby early because my sister is quite large this pregnancy and they are scared that her uterus will rupture!!! UGH!!! Anyway, it seems like every month we get just a little closer than the last month but they all end disappointingly.

I do have a somewhat funny story to share. As you know, I haven't been charting or temping or any of that, so I sort of know when ovulation is supposed to occur, but I don't have it down to an exact science. Anyway, last month marked my third month of being off of BCP and I started having these weird pains in my side. I thought they would go away, but after a few days, I called the doctor and made an appointment. I was scared that there was something wrong with me and my reproductive organs. It turns out, I was ovulating!!! Can you imagine? I felt so stupid!!!!

Well, we are getting Lee this weekend, so that will be interesting. He has discovered his male organ and has become quite amused with this new discovery and the fact that it can "stand up". It's going to be a very entertaining weekend.
