Amy's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 4, 2000

Greetings to everyone! I hope that the past couple of weeks have been prosperous for all! I wanted to start this entry by saying "Thanks" to the many awesome women who posted to congratulate us on our wonderful news! It is still so surreal! We are going to be parents! WOW!

I am feeling very well, actually! I can honestly say that I have had very little morning sickness -- which at first, I was upset about. For some reason, I had it in my head that a person can't be PG unless they camp out in the toilet for weeks. But, I do have those other symptoms such as the terrible fatigue and SORE breasts. But, the chest soreness is getting better. I am extremely lucky for so many reasons!

This coming Monday will be the beginning of my ninth week! This first trimester seems to be creeping by. Our due date is July 18, 2001. So, it works out perfectly with school. I will still take six weeks no matter when the baby comes. If school starts and I haven't had a full six weeks, I will just miss the first few weeks of school. It will be a busy summer preparing for a sub.

I still cannot believe this is happening! We have been working for this dream for more than two years and finally, it's here! I am not sure when I will switching to the PG journals. I hope that you will continue to post me over there!

Congratulations to all of the writers with super news this week! Tammy W., Dawn, Katie, and Aimee, keep your heads high -- your time is coming soon!!!

Lots of love, Amy and baby, EDD 7/18
