Well, this week has been so upsetting. I went to RE last Friday for my first ultrasound for follicle size. I had administered three shots--and I had huge red, irritated injection sites. When the girl asked me when my last ultrasound was, I knew that there was a problem. Also, I just had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. There was a huge cyst on my left ovary. Naturally, my shots were canceled and so was the IUI.
I cried all the way home and then cried on Troy's shoulder for another hour. We just cannot understand why we are hitting so many bumps in our road! I asked my RE's nurse if the cyst was caused by the shots. She told me she didn't think so. Then she called me back saying the RE says it was caused by the shots. We go on Tuesday of next week to talk with the RE again. I don't want to put my health at risk for this medicine. Several ladies have given me information on medications that help with Clomid.
I know that you're glad that I could brighten your day with all of this happy news. I am feeling better about it all now. We aren't really sure what God has in store for us. There may be a baby born somewhere out in this world that belongs to us! Who knows ...
I am taking the best master's class one could ever possibly ask for!!! It's a three hour course, and only three days long! It's being offered through Purdue and it's housed at one of our power plants in the community. They provide us lunch, snacks, shirts, all materials for our presentations, and anything else we want! It's a really nice set-up! It helps me to take mind off of the baby-making.
Thank you so much for all of your support, encouragement, and advice! I appreciate any and all words of wisdom I can find. Feel free to pass on any info that might help me help my RE!!! :)
Best of luck to everyone TTC!! I know that we will have our own little miracles when we least expect it!! Toodles and hugs to everyone!!!
