Wow! I can't believe it is almost July!!!! Happy 4th of July!

By the time you read this, I will have been relaxing with a nice four-day weekend. I hope I come back to work on Wednesday with a renewed feeling, because I have been feeling very down in the dumps lately.

As some of you know from reading on my "Talk to Me" board, AF showed. According to my charts, she shouldn't have. I knew she was coming, because I had all the classic AF symptoms, but my charts were telling another story. It was a nightmare! This cycle, I am re-evaluating all of my so-called fertility "tactics." First of all, no more charting/temping. I should have known better than to start up again. It gave me false hope, because the charting program I use told me I ovulated before I actually did. And of course, believing this, DH and I took a break from BD and missed the real day altogether! Ugh. Secondly, forget the OPKs. I couldn't tell if it was + or not. I thought I could, but it was never black and white. I never really knew.

Of course, I have something better up my sleeve (didn't think I was going to STOP being obsessive, did ya?). I decided to buy the Clear Plan Easy Fertility Monitor. It was approximately $200, but if it means I get pregnant faster, it will be well worth it. Before I invested, I did some market research. I went to tons of pregnancy message boards and posted the question "Did you use the fertility monitor to get pregnant?" I got approximately 25-30 responses saying that women had used them and they were pregnant now. About half had conceived one or two months after using it, and the other half said three or four months. The monitor says that if you are not pregnant after six months, to consult your physician.

So the way I look at it, we will be pregnant by Christmas, if not sooner (unless something is wrong with us, which I don't think so). At least I know I am going to get somewhere, and I don't have to wonder about ovulation. So I am pretty psyched!

I'm only on CD#4 now, so it’s a long wait until ovulation. Come on, let's get this party started!!!! Hope ya had a great holiday weekend!!!!
