Karen's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Wow! A lot has happened since the last entry!
I did ovulate last week. I cheated and took my temperature last Friday and it was a normal post-O temp. (What can I say, I'M OBSESSED!) Based on CM, I think it may have been either Wednesday or Thursday. Although I'm pretty unhappy to report I had no EWCM, but a lot of creamy stuff on Monday and Tuesday. However, I'm pretty sure this month is going to be a bust. I just have this lousy pessimistic feeling about it. We only BD'd twice around the time I was fertile, and they were three days apart. We were just too busy and tired last week. Call it women's intuition, but I do not feel pregnant at all.
The good news is that it seems my cycles have finally regulated themselves back to their normal 32 days, instead of the 35 days they have been for the last few months. That means I am O'ing on day 17/18 instead of 20. That's a little consolation (not much!).
I did a pretty funny (and totally unlike me) thing last week. I was surfing the Web and somehow got linked to a psychic hotline site, where they would give you one free reading. So I said, "what the hey!" and gave them a few details, such as my birth date, the time of day I was born, my birthplace, my husband's birth date and my name, and asked them "Would I conceive this month." Her answer was "Yes, you will definitely conceive this month. The stars are aligned for you. There is the strange persistence of the number two, that has always been a lucky number for you." I laughed out loud, but then thought carefully about what she said and it was a bit eerie. First of all, my husband's birthday is 2/22, our two anniversaries (one that we celebrated before we were married, and our wedding anniversary) are 6/20 and 10/12 and the EERIEST of all, if conceived, my baby would be due 2/2/2001.How is that for crazy!!!
I guess she probably guessed all that based on the birth dates, but she didn't know my anniversaries OR where I was in my cycle (but she probably figured out February). However, I don't believe that stuff so I will just pass it off as coincidence. That would be weird though, wouldn't it!
So, now I am in the post-O waiting phase (my second least favorite phase after AF :o). I am 99.9 percent sure this was NOT the month for us, so I am looking forward to the possibility of a March baby! If AFNW doesn't show, then I will probably test next Thursday or Friday (the day she's due).
Hope everyone is safe, happy and healthy! Baby dust to everyone!
Karen
