Thank you to all of you who expressed your concern about my grandpa. Unfortunately he passed away on Wednesday morning. We just got back this morning from Maine where he lived. It was a very emotional weekend but I know that he is in a happier place with my grandma and that makes me feel good.
On the ttc end of things I have been on meds for 8 days and have 7 follicles(ranging from 11-16 in size) on my right side. This is exciting since normally I would have 1. The only concern I have is that my right tube is the one that is thinnner than normal. The dr seems to think that the tubal problems are not a huge deal so I am not going to stress about it. Let's just pray that this is the month it works. God knows we need some happy news.
I wanted to share a very funny story that happened on our trip. I have to have my shots in the muscle so dh or my mom give them to me. Well on the way to Maine I was worried that there would not be any place for dh to give me my shot. We stopped at this rest area in Maine and I noticed that there was a handicapped bathroom seperate from the normal mens and womens rooms. So jokingly I said to dh oh good there is a handicapped restroom lets go in there for a quicky. Of course he knew what I meant and we went in and locked the door. Later on my sister said to me that there was a man that heard me say let's go for a quicky and then we really went into the bathroom. She said he just stood there and looked like he was in shock. After hearing this dh and I started talking about the things we said in the bathroom and how if this man was listening he might have interpreted them. Here are some of the things we said:
Dh said, It will be easier if you bend over the sink.
I said, your getting good at this, it didn't even hurt this time.
He said, and I didn't even make you bleed
I said, see I told you, you just had to stab me harder and it would be better.
Thinking about these innocent comments and how they could be interpretted made me laugh so hard, I just had to share. What a story to share with my children someday. LOL
