Happy new year! It's 2001 and time to start over into a new year. Isn't this exciting!?? I just want to start off by saying happy new year to all of you and hope this year brings health, wealth and all the happiness you can handle (and more!). Cheers to the start of a new year!
We had a very nice Christmas this year. I had some very nice unexpected gifts this year. The most thrilling and most prized gift was a pair of diamond earrings DH gave to me. I never in a million years believed I was getting them. I put them on my dream list and much to my surprise I received them on Christmas Day from my Angel. I hate bringing gifts up because it sounds materialistic and if you knew me and how modest I am, you would know that I am far from being materialistic. So, I am bragging to you because I have no one else to brag to. Skip this part if it makes you sick! "We," note this is collective here, also received a digital camera. It was labeled to me, but the gift was more of a family "toy." For you out there with DHs that enjoy electronics and gadgets you get my drift on this present. I am totally disinclined to purchase electronics and know nothing about them. DH on the other hand is up to date on all high tech gadgets and knows everything about them. Good thing!
I am thankful we had such a great Christmas this year. DH told me he wanted to give me a nice Christmas this year because hopefully next year we won't be able to afford nice presents for each other. (HINT~ Baby!)
DH has his appointment tomorrow at noon. I will be attending this appointment to see what is next for DH. Due to the deadline, I am trying to get this in and you will have to wait to get an update on my next entry. Sorry! Not that our news is always that exciting.
I have to mention two important people now.
Megan: I'm not worthy! You said all those nice things to me in your Dec. 19 entry. Are you on dope?? Am I the same person you are speaking of? Just kidding! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do have to point out the fact that you are as positive or maybe even more positive than I am. You always look to God for guidance and comfort and he is going to come through for you and your family. Keep the faith and always believe in miracles. They happen every day and you are so deserving of another angel to fill your home.
Dawn: I'm with you! You and I are so much alike. I think of how our friendship has grown into this beautiful flower. We are not only TTC friends, but friends in life. We share so many things in common and believe the same things. I am not as good with words as you, but I did want to say thanks for always being there and always extending your shoulder (all the way from Md.) to me. I am forever grateful for a wonderful friend like you! And, keep the faith, Sister! This is going to happen for us. Whether it's this year or six years from now ... we will be parents. You just watch and see!
Happy new year to you all! Best of luck to everyone TTC, happy pregnancies to those who are expecting, and lots of love to the babies that have already been born!
Love always,
Aimee
