So it's been a long time since I wrote an entry and I apologize I just haven't had much time to spend some quality time to sit and write. Well I guess you could say quite a bit has happened since my last entry. In September I decided to try a round of clomid. On Cd 12 I believe it was I went in to see the OB to see how the clomid was working. And while having a routine u/s my OB diagnosed me with polycystic ovary syndrome. He saw some cysts and he said based on my cycle history and the cysts it was enough to diagnose me. Unfortunately the clomid was not working. I did have some blood work done and I found out that I am insulin resistant and pre-diabetic.

So now I must watch what I eat. I am waiting for the start of a new cycle to start metformin. I will be going in for a pregnancy test tomorrow and I have no hope what so ever for this cycle because according to my temps and opks I did not ovulate this cycle. So I will probably be starting provera tomorrow to bring on af. Then I will start the metformin and from what I hear some of the side effects are not so fun. I guess I better become better acquainted with all of the restroom locations of all of my frequently visited places. So hopefully af will come soon and the metformin will regulate my cycles and I will be on my way to a bfp.

On a side note this past Tuesday was my 24th birthday. My wonderful dh took me away to beautiful Sedona,AZ last weekend and we had an amazing time. I'm truly blessed and it was a much needed vacation. Now i'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my sil,( my dh's sister) her husband and my two beautiful nieces. I'm sure this weekend will be chaotic and wonderful.

I also want to give a little shout out to my wonderful "twin" sister Shannon. I hope everything is going great for you I miss you very much. I know we will both be wonderful mothers some day. Keep your chin up girly! I love ya!
