I called ARC today to find out if it would be possible to apply for a IVF loan ahead of time so I wouldn't pay for a $300 consultation and then find out they we don't qualify. I'll be totally honest, our credit is horrible. Some of it is our fault and some of it is not but it is what it is.
So she told me an estimate of the costs and she gave me the two loan agencies that I could use. I applied to both and was turned down by both. I'm bumbed but at the same time relieved because there's no way we could have afforded those payments a month. So what is our next step?
I saw my doctor yesterday and I'm healing fine. She confirmed what Raymond told me and she gave me a copy of the pictures that she took. It was very sad sitting there listening to her and looking at what I'm up against. She's very positive that IVF would work for me. The main thing that she stressed is that I need to go to a high quality place that will garantee a sucessful cycle.
She told me how to request my medical records.
We'll see what the next couple of months
