Happy Mother's Day

I pray that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!!! For those of us who aren't moms yet, I pray that by next year's Mother's Day we will have something to celebrate also. I was a little depressed this morning when I thought about how I'm not a mom yet and when I got to church one of the church members said to me how blessed I am since I just found my birthmom and I can celebrate Mother's Day with her. At that moment I felt a lot better. God is so good, He knows how to bring joy back into your heart as long as you let him. I haven't much to talk about, so I just hope that everyone has a wonderful week. ( yes, I am a stepmom but it's not the same as having a child of your own. We get along but about a month ago she expressed some things to me that were really hurtful about how she really felt about me. It's kind of hard to embrace her the same way that I did before.)
